Inspector General Krishna Murti has been absent from the public eye since his reassignment as Expert Staff for Police Management on August 5, 2025. His sudden disappearance sparked speculation, including allegations of an affair with a female police officer identified as AP.
In his current role, Krishna is responsible for assisting the National Police Chief in evaluating internal management aspects. Previously, he served as Head of the International Relations Division (Hubinter) of the National Police.
Rumors suggest that Krishna had been involved in a secret relationship with AP since 2018. However, the National Police has yet to release an official statement regarding the issue.
Krishna Murti remains legally married to Nany Ariany Utama, with whom he has two children. Nany, active in the Bhayangkari organization, has frequently accompanied him on duty, including during his assignment at the United Nations headquarters in New York from 2011 to 2013.
Krishna is widely known for his involvement in major cases, such as the 2016 Sarinah bombing and the cyanide coffee murder case of Wayan Mirna Salihin. His name also resurfaced when his rank was overtaken by his subordinate, Ferdy Sambo.
Nevertheless, the controversy surrounding his personal life has raised questions about his disappearance from public attention. The public now awaits clarity from the National Police regarding the alleged affair involving the two-star general.
