Persib Bandung has officially been chosen as the host for the AFC Champions League Two (ACL 2) 2025/2026 playoff match.
This crucial match will see Persib face off against the Philippines’ representative, Manila Digger, on August 13.
Initially, the game was scheduled to take place in Manila. However, the AFC later decided to move the venue to Bandung, giving Persib the home-field advantage.
This decision has been warmly welcomed by Persib fans, the Bobotoh, who now have the opportunity to cheer on their beloved team directly at the stadium. Their support is expected to boost the team's morale as they aim to return to the Asian stage.
Adhitia Putra Herawan, Deputy CEO of PT Persib Bandung Bermartabat, expressed gratitude for the decision. He believes this was made possible through strong coordination and communication among all stakeholders.
"We are very thankful and excited to welcome the ACL 2 playoff match in Bandung. We hope it will attract a large number of supporters and become a historic moment for Persib," said Adhitia.
