The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) carried out a sting operation (OTT) at PT Inhutani V’s Jakarta office on Wednesday, August 13, 2025. This marked KPK’s fourth OTT of the year. Nine individuals, including private sector representatives and state-owned enterprise executives, were apprehended.
Following a 24-hour examination, KPK named three suspects: Dicky Yuana Rady (DIC), President Director of PT Exploitation and Forest Industry (Inhutani) V; Djunaidi (DJN), Director of PT Paramitra Mulia Langgeng (PML); and Aditya (ADT), a licensing staff member of SB Group. They are suspected of involvement in a bribery case related to forest area management.
Evidence seized included SGD 189,000 in cash (around IDR 2.4 billion), IDR 8.5 million, and two luxury vehicles — a red Rubicon and a Pajero. The red Rubicon seized from Dicky’s home drew public attention.
The case stems from a cooperation agreement between PT Inhutani and PT PML to manage 56,547 hectares of land in Lampung. In 2018, PT PML failed to pay Land and Building Tax (PBB) worth IDR 2.31 billion, reforestation loan payments of IDR 500 million per year, and neglected to submit monthly activity reports. The Supreme Court later ruled that PT PML must pay IDR 3.4 billion in compensation.
Despite this, the cooperation continued. In June 2024, PT PML transferred IDR 4.2 billion to PT Inhutani and allegedly gave Dicky IDR 100 million in cash. Dicky then approved changes to the Forest Utilization Work Plan (RKUPH) and signed the 2025 Annual Work Plan (RKT), accommodating PT PML’s interests.
The case intensified after it was revealed that Dicky requested a new car from Djunaidi following a meeting at a golf course. KPK is still investigating to uncover more about the money trail and other parties involved.
