Ibnu Naser Arrohimi, a member of the BPJS Health Supervisory Board, conducted an inspection of health services at RSUD Wonosari and Puskesmas Wonosari II in Gunungkidul. This inspection aims to oversee and guarantee that healthcare services for Jaminan Kesehatan Nasional (JKN) participants are delivered effectively.
Ibnu explained that the main focus of the inspection was on service quality and digitalization to enhance participant satisfaction with JKN. “There are high expectations from the community regarding this health insurance program,” Ibnu said after his visit on Friday (July 4, 2025).
He added that JKN coverage in Gunungkidul has reached 99.79%. To maintain and improve services, digitalization is key to simplifying procedures and saving time for participants receiving healthcare.
“We consistently encourage participants and healthcare facilities to maximize the use of the Mobile JKN Application. This app speeds up services, such as the online queue feature which allows participants to secure their queue number from home and simply show it upon arrival at the hospital,” Ibnu explained.
Besides accelerating the process, the online queue also helps healthcare facilities manage patient flow, preventing crowding at registration counters. Participants can monitor their queue status via the app and arrive just in time for their appointment.
The online queue system is not only used in hospitals but also in Primary Healthcare Facilities (FKTP) such as clinics and community health centers. Ibnu emphasized the importance of a collective commitment from all parties to optimize the use of this feature so that services become faster and more efficient.
Regarding service quality, Ibnu highlighted several critical areas including outpatient care, inpatient care, emergency rooms, and pharmacies that still require attention to increase JKN participant satisfaction. “We continue to strive for service improvements together with BPJS Health and partner healthcare facilities, finding solutions to any challenges at the central level,” he asserted.
Director of RSUD Wonosari, Diah Prasetyorini, stated that as a government hospital, her team is committed to providing the best services for Gunungkidul residents. She hopes that the visit and discussions with the BPJS Health Supervisory Board will provide positive and constructive feedback to improve hospital services.
“We continuously work on reducing queue times and increasing efficiency. We are also pushing for greater adoption of the Mobile JKN Application so more people can benefit from its convenience,” Diah said.
Meanwhile, the Head of UPT Puskesmas Wonosari II, Dwi Susanto, explained that the health center has implemented procedures to support the use of the Mobile JKN Application. A dedicated corner at the front of the puskesmas is available for health screening as well as education on how to use the app.
“We assist participants, especially the elderly, who may not be proficient with smartphones by guiding them step-by-step in using the Mobile JKN Application. Our hope is that after this education, participants will use the online queue feature during their visits,” he said.
In addition to visiting RSUD Wonosari and Puskesmas Wonosari II, Ibnu also inspected RS PKU Muhammadiyah Wonosari, RSU Pelita Husada, and RS Nur Rohmah. It is hoped that this oversight will strengthen the implementation of the JKN Program and support the improvement of public health in Gunungkidul Regency.
