Four Jakarta Inner City Toll gates are temporarily closed from September 14 to October 10, 2025, due to facility repairs aimed at improving road safety and convenience.

The closure schedule includes: Semanggi I and Kuningan I Toll Gates fully closed on September 24–25, then partially opened with one lane on September 26–October 6. Pejompongan Toll Gate is fully closed from September 24–October 4. Semanggi II, Slipi 1, and Slipi 2 will operate with only one lane from September 24–October 10, while Senayan Toll Gate will be partially closed from September 24–30.

According to the official @TMCPoldaMetro account, motorists are advised to drive carefully and follow traffic officers’ directions. AKBP Komarudin, Head of Gakkum Sub-Directorate, explained that traffic engineering has been prepared to prevent congestion, especially on Gatot Subroto Road heading to Semanggi 2 Toll Gate.

“We urge motorists to use the Kuningan Toll Gate as an alternative to reduce traffic jams,” Komarudin said.

Traffic congestion was also triggered by vehicles from Soekarno-Hatta Airport piling up at the Semanggi off-ramp. The situation worsened as traffic near the DPR/MPR building on Gatot Subroto was disrupted due to a Farmers’ Day demonstration.
